Material / Technique : Encaustic Hot Wax, Ink, Oil / Stamping, EXCAVATION Marking deep lines
25+ layers of Encaustic Wax, heating between each layer to bond to the previous layer. Creating imagery with Ink & Oil between the layers with a final layer of carving the branches. The final stage, I guided ink into the carved lines and heated it lightly into the wax.
